Fuse Universal raises $20 million from venture capital firm

Following a period of strong growth, Fuse Universal have raised $20m of fresh capital from venture firm Eight Roads Ventures which will allow them to invest further global expansion and in product innovation in areas such as machine learning and augmented reality.

Founder and CEO of Fuse Universal, Steve Dineen, said: “We’ve had a remarkable 3 years since our Series A in 2015 and now serve over 100 clients around the globe. Without a doubt, the biggest beneficiary of the investment will be our customers."

Michael Treskow, Partner at Eight Roads Ventures, will join the Fuse board and said: “Fuse has a unique offering which is transforming how businesses are able to educate and engage their workforce.”

This fundraising comes on top of $10m Education Growth Partners invested in Fuse in 2015, when the finance was to be used to "bolster traction in Corporate and Higher Education markets, expand sales and services operations in London, Cape Town and New York and accelerate the product roadmap".

Eight Roads Ventures is the venture capital arm of Fidelity International.
